Publishing Talent Scout for Children's Content

Are you a publishing professional looking for a new challenge? We are seeking a talented Literary Scout to join our team at BookBrunch Limited. As a Publishing Talent Scout for Children's Content, you will play a key role in sourcing key titles and helping our publishers build and maintain their lists.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the children's publishing market, with experience in scouting and/or publishing. They will also have excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing key titles and building relationships with UK and US agents and editors
- Maintaining relationships with London-based clients to ensure they receive relevant title information
- Reading submissions and writing reports on a tight turnaround
- Working with external readers to edit their reports to a high standard
- Attending book fairs and industry events
- Updating the company platform to reflect the latest information for clients
- Providing general administrative support as required
This is a full-time role with a salary range of £28,000-£33,000 dependent on experience.
