Business Modelling and Analytics Expert

Harnham is seeking a highly skilled Business Modelling and Analytics Expert to join their Financial Advisory team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supporting the development of business models and enabling better decision-making across the organisation.

The Role

You will be involved in the following key activities:

  • Analysing the financial implications of various strategic alternatives.
  • Developing transaction models for acquisitions and separations at key stages throughout their lifecycle.
  • Conducting corporate and financial restructuring, including evaluating different funding options such as debt and equity.
  • Modelling an organisation's working capital requirements and cash flows.
  • Identifying, quantifying, and modelling synergies, including their realisation and value capture.
  • Creating business cases to support investment decisions and prioritise resources.
  • Managing model risk through the development of robust model frameworks.
  • Contributing to business growth through business development initiatives.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working in a financial modelling team.
  • Experience developing and/or reviewing models with financial statements.
  • ACA Exam qualified.
  • Strong business diagnostic skills.
  • Strong Excel skills with VBA, SQL, Python as desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numerate degree from a Russel Group University.
