Customer Relationship Manager - Insurance

We are seeking an experienced and relationship-driven Customer Relationship Manager to join our team at GREAT PEOPLE LIMITED.

About the Role:
  • This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on a key role in driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inbound calls, supporting renewal follow-up activity, and handling general queries.

Estimated Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a competitive salary that reflects the importance of this role in driving business growth.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage inbound calls for the Sales Team, ensuring timely and effective communication with customers.
  2. Support and manage renewal follow-up activity, including outstanding decisions and information requests, to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  3. Handle general queries, supplier questionnaires, and requests for information, providing clear and concise responses.
  4. Collaborate with the Sales Team to record and report sales activity and outcomes, driving business growth and improvement.
  5. Liaise with other functions within the business to ensure seamless communication, prompt resolution, and optimal customer outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Administration, sales, or account management experience in an insurance or financial services company is preferred but not essential.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills, with the ability to manage multiple demands and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong verbal and communication skills, particularly via telephone, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Listenership and responding effectively, with the ability to identify potential problems or obstacles.
  • Conflict resolution and professional demeanor, with the ability to build rapport and successful relationships both internally and externally.
  • Empathy and understanding, with the ability to recognize and respond to different perspectives.
  • Teamwork and collaboration, with a focus on achieving collective goals and objectives.
Benefits:
  • Office-based role with the potential to transition to hybrid working after completing the probationary period (usually 3 months).
  • Working hours/benefits:
    • 35 hours a week.
