Key Duties:

  3. Manage phone calls, address patient concerns, and transfer calls to relevant personnel effectively.
  4. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing time management and minimizing wait times.
  5. Assist patients in completing necessary forms and understanding office policies, promoting transparency and trust.
  6. Process payments accurately, maintain proper documentation, and collect patient co-pays, ensuring professional financial transactions.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, reflecting the high standards of our practice.
  8. Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient flow and resource allocation, enhancing overall efficiency.
  9. Verify insurance eligibility, streamlining administrative tasks and reducing delays.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent, preferably with experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  3. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate record-keeping and efficient task completion.
  4. Proficiency in using computer systems and basic office software, navigating complex applications with ease.
  5. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining composure.
  6. Empathy, compassion, and professionalism when interacting with patients and their families, creating a caring atmosphere.
