We are seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dynamic team at Human Engineering. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our clients in the heavy plant industry.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on heavy plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, implementing timely and effective solutions.
- Conduct thorough examinations of components to identify potential defects or deficiencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to schedule and execute service activities, minimizing downtime and maximizing uptime.
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and onsite personnel, ensuring proper operation and maintenance practices.
- Accurately record service activities, including work orders, inspection reports, and equipment documentation.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Engineering discipline.
- Experience working with heavy equipment in a field service capacity.
- Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems on heavy equipment.
- Certifications or tickets related to site machinery maintenance (e.g., CPCS, NPORS, IPAF).
- Demonstrated diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients and team members effectively.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
