Job Title: Care Worker

Job Type: Temporary On Going

Location: St Neots

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Care Worker to work within a service situated in St Neots. The service provides residential care to residents with PWS (Prader-Willi Syndrome).

Key Responsibilities:

* Support individuals with a diagnosis of Prader-Willi Syndrome to live fulfilled and independent lives

* Motivate and encourage service users to be independent while supporting them with social, emotional and physical tasks and activities including personal care

* Work as a team with other staff to provide a high quality of person centred care to each service user

* Communicate effectively with service users, families and members of staff to find their likes and preferences

Requirements:

* Hold a valid DBS (Conducted in the last 12 months)

* Have at least 9 months UK experience in the care sector

* Have a good level of English (written & verbal) skills

* Be happy to provide personal care

* Be flexible to work Early, Late and Night Shifts
