Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Home Care Direct. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a national service provider and industry-leading specialist in the personalisation of care at home. You will be working with a lovely young lady who sustained a traumatic brain injury and requires support with personal care, moving, and handling medication administration.

As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred care and support to our client, enabling her to live independently in her adapted bungalow. You will need to be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.

Requirements
  • Previous care experience and an understanding of brain injury
  • Enhanced DBS disclosure
  • Full clean UK driving licence
  • Ability to commit to long-term care for one client in a person-centred way
  • Willingness to be trained to CQC standards to meet the client's needs
Benefits

As a Support Worker with Home Care Direct, you will receive:

  • An hourly pay rate of £12.50 per hour

  • Annual leave paid at 5.6 weeks (pro rata) per annum based on contracted hours

You will also have access to full support and supervision from your dedicated Regional Care Lead, training and full support from your local HCD Community Nurse, and career pathway options.
