Job Title: Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at People Plus Independent Living Services.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a client who requires support with daily living tasks, social activities, and medical appointments. As a Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, discussing and resolving problems as they arise, and adapting to the client's changing needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support with household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Accompanying the client to medical appointments and social activities
  • Assisting with shopping and errands
  • Providing emotional support and companionship
  • Discussing and resolving problems as they arise

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in the care sector
  • Knowledge of ME/CFS and its challenges
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliable and punctual
