About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Venue Design and Construction to join our team at Live Nation (Music) UK Limited. As a key member of our Design and Construction department, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and construction of our venues, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement venue design and construction strategies that align with our business objectives.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to design and deliver venue projects, including project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  • Collaborate with our Project Development team to ensure that venue projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Manage and coordinate the work of external design and engineering consultants and vendors.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including venue owners, operators, and local authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating any risks or issues that may impact the project timeline or budget.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure that our venues are designed and constructed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in venue design and construction, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and project management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup/Enscape, and Bluebeam.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally to project sites and meetings.
