Existing Business Development Underwriter

We are seeking an experienced Existing Business Development Underwriter to join our team at Salus Insurance. As a key member of our Underwriting department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with brokers in the Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide brokers with timely renewal invitations for various products, including RPO, CPO, Retail, Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Contractors, Tradesman, and Commercial Combined.
  • Work closely with the Underwriting team and team leaders to ensure all work is completed within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Action Mid Term Adjustments and Cancellations for brokers and clients, and serve as a referral point for Underwriting Assistants for larger cases.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in underwriting Property and Casualty risks.
  • Self-motivated, friendly, professional, and excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Flexible location within the Midlands, with occasional travel to the London office as required.
