Job Summary:

N P Aerospace Ltd is seeking an experienced Trade Compliance Manager to ensure full compliance with all relevant import and export regulations impacting our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing strategic advice to support business planning and development.
  • Preparing and processing applications, expediting approvals, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Monitoring compliance deadlines and ensuring business adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures relating to import/export compliance and ITAR.
  • Providing training to key personnel on import and export controls, including ITAR.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers/agencies to ensure trade compliance and support business objectives.
  • Determining the classification of goods, software, and technology to be exported.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in export compliance roles.
  • Awareness and understanding of business agreements/contracts.
  • All-round commercial awareness and numeracy.
  • Computer literate with good knowledge of all core Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to analyze complex business situations and advise on the impact of export controls.
