We are delighted to announce a partnership with an independent provider of apprenticeships, recruiting for a Business Development Executive on a permanent basis. This exciting opportunity allows you to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.

Salary: £34,500 per annum + £4,500 car allowance

Job Description:

The Business Development post will be involved in all aspects of the work of the Business Development team, including increasing the customer base, supporting current customers to ensure they are aware of changes to funding and implementation of new national initiatives. Involvement in marketing, network events, and working alongside the administration and assessment team to ensure the delivery of an excellent service.

Responsibilities:

  • To identify, engage, and develop new apprenticeship business through various business development approaches, including calls, meetings, presentations, events, and networking.
  • To proactively undertake sales activity, including telesales, face-to-face, and online activity to secure Adult Education Budget.
  • To work towards agreed KPIs as part of the Business Development sales pipeline to achieve annual revenue and apprenticeship lead targets.
  • To develop and maintain current customer relationships, ensuring employers are updated on learner progress, changes to funding, national initiatives, and other services offered.
  • To work closely with the administration and assessment teams to ensure a quality service is available and offered to customers that meets their identified needs.
  • To be a first point of contact for existing and potential customer inquiries.
  • To plan and deliver exhibitions and network events across the region and represent the company at external meetings as required.
  • To contribute to content for marketing campaigns, social media, and newsletters.
  • To collect feedback from customers to enable us to maintain and continuously improve the customer offer.
  • To source and support tenders for new income streams.
  • To participate in preparation of and inclusion in any externally accredited quality inspections.

Requirements:

  • New Business Development and Lead Generation skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Account management and relationship-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the Health and Social Care industry.
  • Experience in apprenticeships or training sector is highly desirable.
