About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payroll Officer to join our team at Spinwell Global. As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality, efficient, and effective payroll and pension service.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Payroll & Pensions Manager in the delivery of a high-quality, efficient, and effective payroll and pension service.
  • Providing sound professional advice and support, covering a wide range of personnel and payroll issues.
  • Acting as a subject matter expert in relation to payroll and pension, ensuring a responsive and comprehensive service to clients.
  • Supervising Payroll Officers working within a larger team delivering a Payroll Service.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience of end-to-end payroll processing, delivering a high-quality, customer-focused service.
  • Experience of resolving complex payroll issues ensuring compliance with appropriate statutory regulations.
  • Excellent administration skills with high attention to detail to manage information and data.
  • Experience in using different computer software including a HR/Payroll or ERP solution.

Desirable

  • Experience of public sector pension schemes.
  • Experience of system implementation.
