About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Support Worker to join our team at Lawley Bank Court Extra Care scheme in Telford. As a Support Worker, you will be supporting the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain their individuality and vital independence.

You will help residents with restricted mobility to move to dining areas at meal times, communal areas for social activities and to the privacy of their bedrooms and bathrooms at their request. This will involve assisting with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing, while maintaining the importance of privacy and dignity.

You will also have the opportunity to take part in physical and mental stimulation by being a part of the recreational and social activities with residents, and as a group.
