At Creative Support, we provide quality care and support to individuals in a safe and homely environment. Our mission is to provide person-centred care and support that meets the needs and preferences of our tenants.

As a Senior Support Worker, your role will include:

  • Providing dignified and respectful care and support to assist with personal care needs.
  • Encouraging and supporting individuals to learn new skills and increase their independence and self-esteem.
  • Supporting individuals to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including making and attending health appointments.
  • Assisting the registered manager to complete essential documents, including support plans, risk assessments, and training records.
  • Shared responsibility for coaching and deploying staff and managing rotas.
  • Liaising with family members, professionals, and commissioners.
  • Working flexibly according to the needs of the service, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

You must be well-organised and conscientious, with good verbal and written communication skills. You will be required to work directly on a rota, undertaking early, late, and weekend duties as required. Senior Support Workers are expected to participate in a local on-call rota.

Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Benefits of working with Creative Support include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days' Annual Leave, and company-paid enhanced DBS.
