Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at David Lewis School and College. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including learning disabilities, epilepsy, and autism.

**About the Role**

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to make a difference in the lives of young adults. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students during lessons and activities, promoting independence, confidence, and positive behaviors.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Provide individualized support to students with complex needs
* Assist students during lessons and activities, promoting independence and self-sufficiency
* Encourage positive behaviors and attitudes towards learning
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers

**Requirements**

* GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths
* Experience working with individuals with complex needs, preferably in an educational setting
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

**What We Offer**

* Competitive salary: £20,000 - £25,000 per annum
* 33.75 hours per week, term-time only

* Up to 30 days annual leave (term-time only) and up to 12 weeks full sick pay
