Are you passionate about supporting young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a skilled Special Educational Needs Teaching Associate to join our team at a vibrant secondary school in Wilmslow. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Associate, you will work closely with our experienced SENCO team to provide tailored support to students with a range of SEN needs, including autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, social emotional and mental health, and other specific educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individual learning plans (ILPs) and contribute to monitoring pupil progress.
  • Work closely with class teachers to ensure students' needs are met within the curriculum.
  • Support students with a range of strategies to improve concentration, behaviour, and independence in learning.
  • Build positive relationships with students, promoting a nurturing and supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEN and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
