Financial Control Specialist Opportunity

Peak Scientific Instruments Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Financial Control Specialist to join our HQ team in Inchinnan. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust financial control function, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement financial control processes and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of financial processes and systems to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with management and colleagues to understand business needs and develop effective financial control solutions.
  • Provide training and support to staff on financial control procedures and policies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and industry best practices to ensure our financial control systems remain effective and compliant.
Requirements:
  • Relevant professional accountancy, risk management, or related qualification.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adaptability to business change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive approach with the initiative to drive things forward with minimal supervision.
