Payroll Specialist

About the Role
The Payroll Specialist will play a crucial part in our dynamic Finance Department, working closely with the established Payroll Team to ensure seamless payroll processing. This is a permanent opportunity within Protocol, a top-tier recruitment company specialising in the Education, Skills, and Training sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Process diverse payrolls on a weekly and monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Generate and maintain payroll-related reports, providing critical insights to relevant business stakeholders.
- Manage workplace pensions, from calculations to communications.
- Address payroll-related queries with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with Finance, Compliance, and other departments to keep processes streamlined.
Requirements
- Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with complex data.
- Experience managing different types of payrolls: salaried, timesheet-based, weekly, and monthly.
- Knowledge of various payroll systems.

- A competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
