Payroll Specialist

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a senior payroll position, with a proven track record of driving results under pressure. A strong understanding of shared service environments and national legislation is also essential.
Key responsibilities include full end-to-end payroll processing for 5000+ employees across 3 payrolls per month, as well as delivering payroll, pensions, and benefits within a large organisation. Additional tasks include monthly analysis and reconciliation of pay, benefits, SMP, SSP, SPP, P45, P60's, P11d, and Year-End Process. The successful candidate will also be responsible for processing pension from start to end, dealing with attachment of earnings and other deductions, working closely with finance to ensure costings and under/over payments balance, and contributing to continuous improvement.
