Cherry Professional is a leading recruitment agency, and we are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all aspects of payroll, including processing monthly payrolls for up to 150 employees.

About the Role:

We offer a hybrid working arrangement that allows for flexibility across 32 hours a week. This role provides a unique opportunity for someone to take full responsibility for end-to-end payroll and expenses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process monthly payroll for up to 150 employees with differing shift patterns and overtime rates.
  • Process HMRC notifications and manual calculations.
  • Generate payslips.
  • Loading payroll information onto the system.
  • Reporting and completing month-end reporting.
  • Manage the pension process, including changes to contributions.
  • Oversee expenses, both UK and overseas.
  • Manage credit cards and review employee responsibilities.
  • Perform general administration duties.

Ideal Candidate:

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a payroll function, along with strong IT literacy, particularly in Excel. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work to set deadlines.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience). We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible working arrangements, training opportunities, and professional development support.
