About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Community Mental Health Service Provider to join our team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

Job Summary:

  • To provide high-quality clinical services to children and their families, ensuring their mental health needs are met in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • To conduct thorough assessments, identify risk factors, and develop strategies to mitigate them, promoting the well-being and resilience of children and families.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing a complex caseload, including assessing, planning, coordinating, and evaluating care for children with mental health-related difficulties.
  • Developing and delivering interventions, such as CBT, EMDR, and family therapy, to address specific mental health concerns.
  • Fostering strong relationships with children, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and collaborative working.
  • Participating in regular supervision and peer review to maintain expertise and adhere to best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Registered Mental Health Practitioner/Nurse qualification or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience working with children and families, preferably in a community setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in psychological interventions, including CBT, EMDR, and family therapy.
  • Excellent assessment and communication skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
