Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Crisis Care Nurse to join our Community Mental Health team at Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is a 24-hour service, requiring practitioners to work rostered shifts, including weekends and nights. You will be responsible for working in an identified adult community mental health pathway, with flexibility to work across pathways based on skill and service need.

As part of our Home Crisis Treatment team, you will assess mental health crises in individuals referred to the service, delivering safe and effective home treatment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing and supporting clients in crisis, developing recovery plans and implementing agreed systems for monitoring effectiveness.
  • Participating in education and management of junior staff, contributing to the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
  • Providing consultation, support, and clinical supervision to other health professionals within the Community Mental Health Pathway Service.
Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current B6 MPFT nurse with CRHT experience.
  • Extensive post-registration experience in mental health nursing, preferably in a community setting.
  • An active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is £43,041 - £56,009 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
