Legal Cashier
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a skilled Legal Cashier to join our client's team in Huddersfield. As a key member of the accounts team, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Process financial transactions for office and client accounts, including sales and purchase invoices, banking, and payments
* Maintain accurate and timely accounting records
* Reconcile bank accounts on a daily and monthly basis
* Verify and process conveyancing completions
* Liaise with colleagues and external suppliers to resolve queries
**Requirements**
* Previous experience in a law firm accounts team
* Knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
* Proven IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with specialist accounting systems
* Numerate, accurate, and organized with excellent communication skills
