About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Respiratory Medicine Specialist to join our dynamic team at Aneurin Bevan University Health Board. As a Consultant in Pulmonary Care, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory services.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement subspecialty respiratory medicine services for a population of over 600,000
  • Contribute to the development of existing specialist services, including lung cancer and pleural medicine, asthma, NIV, ILD, and Sleep services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions
  • Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery

  • Full registration and a licence to practice with the GMC
  • On the GMC Specialist Register (including via CESR/European Community Rights) or will have a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview
