We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Teaching Assistant to join our team at Remedy Education. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting students with complex needs, including MLD, PMLD, physical disabilities, and various SEN barriers.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working alongside our teaching staff to deliver personalized support to students aged 11-19 in our secondary specialist SEN school.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing physical support and assistance with communication and interpersonal skills
  • Delivering sensory curriculum-based learning activities
  • Collaborating with the class teacher and other teaching assistants to develop effective support plans

**Key Requirements:**

  • Experience working with children with disabilities or SEN
  • Able to carry out personal care, including changing and hoists
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

**Estimated Salary:** £29,000 - £33,000 per annum, based on experience and location
