Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MHE Trainer to join our Great Bear team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in training MHE operators to ensure safe working practices and a continuous reduction in accidents and incidents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Deliver comprehensive training to MHE operators to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and efficiently.
  • Health and Safety: Lead by example and promote a strong Health and Safety culture within the organisation, ensuring that all MHE operators are aware of and adhere to safe working practices.
  • Operational Support: Provide technical support to the operations team, ensuring that all MHE equipment is properly maintained and that operators are trained to use it safely and effectively.
  • Reporting and Record-Keeping: Compile and maintain accurate records of training completed, including operator certification and any incidents or near-misses that may occur.
Requirements
  • Experience: Must have extensive experience in MHE training and operation, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality training and promoting a positive Health and Safety culture.
  • Qualifications: Must hold relevant qualifications in MHE training and operation, such as a certificate in MHE training or a degree in a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and operators at all levels.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
