About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Sodexo Group, working on a variety of technical projects across our clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects, ensuring that all technical specifications are met and that the projects adhere to the client's requirements and standards.
  • Plan, schedule, predict, and manage technical tasks to ensure projects are completed accurately with the appropriate resources and maintaining quality from start to finish.
  • Ensure that all projects adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment standards, statutory requirements, and engineering best practices.
  • Implement quality control processes for engineering work, ensuring that all outputs meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Identify potential risks related to the technical aspects of the project and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks.
  • Work closely with third-party contractors to ensure that their engineering work aligns with project goals and client expectations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all technical aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with both Sodexo's and the client's processes and procedures.
  • Provide technical guidance and act as a central point of contact for project works, ensuring alignment with SSOW and RAMS.
  • Facilitate decision-making for clients and establish effective communication channels between Project Management, the business, and Supply Partner community.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in managing engineering projects, ideally in a corporate or facilities management environment.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering a broad portfolio of Hard FM and M&E projects.
  • Strong technical skills with a proven ability to manage complex engineering projects.
  • Client-focused, with the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant statutory regulations, including CDM and H&S procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
  • Decisive with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
