The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive cleaning service and providing a food and beverage service in accordance with health and safety requirements, Patient Lead Assessments, and the Care Environment (PLACE) and NHS property services cleaning manual, policies, and procedures.
The role will require knowledge of all aspects of the sites, including cleaning, catering, and portering. The Facilities Assistant will be responsible for ensuring areas under their responsibility are maintained to a high standard and that customers are served promptly, courteously, and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a full cleaning service in accordance with health and safety requirements and NHS property services cleaning manual, policies, and procedures.
- Provide a food and beverage service in accordance with health and safety requirements and NHS property services cleaning manual, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with portering and maintenance tasks as required.
- Ensure areas under their responsibility are maintained to a high standard.
- Provide support services assistance to customers.
- 27 days annual leave + 8 days bank holiday.
