About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team in providing high-quality care to patients in their own homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a community setting and be able to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering person-centred care, including personal care and associated duties, under the direction of registered staff. They will also assist with supervising other healthcare and support staff and carry out tasks specified within the Trust's approved core task list for Clinical Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants.

A strong understanding of patient confidentiality and data protection is essential, as is the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. A positive and enthusiastic approach to work is also required to maintain high morale and motivation within the team.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to patients in their own homes.
  2. Assist with supervising other healthcare and support staff.
  3. Carry out tasks specified within the Trust's approved core task list for Clinical Support Workers/Healthcare Assistants.
  4. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  5. Ensure patient confidentiality and data protection at all times.
Requirements
  • GCSE level A-C English and Maths or equivalent.
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 2 in healthcare, willing to work towards Level 3 or equivalent higher apprenticeship.
  • Experience working in a community setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team.

This role offers an estimated salary of £25,000-£35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
