At Evri, we're committed to creating responsible delivery experiences. As a Designate Depot General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading and developing our depot team. You'll work closely with key partners to drive operational performance and achieve key performance indicators.

This role is designed to be fully flexible, supporting the area on a day-to-day basis, including holiday and absence cover for DGMs. You'll need strong leadership skills and the ability to make decisions on behalf of the DGMs.

As a Designate Depot General Manager, you'll be a role model of behaviors and lead our health and safety Go Home Safe message.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver the budget, cost, and service metrics set for the depot by the Area Manager.
  • Support the Area in delivering strategic improvements and deliverables for the growth of the business.
  • Deputise for the DGMs when they're not available and be the point of contact and have accountability for their depot during that time.
  • Work across all shifts and team structures.
  • Review depot performance through data and trends that deliver solutions for Depot management to action.
Requirements
  • CPC National Certificate is desirable.
  • Full driving licence is required.
  • IOSH Qualified.
  • Demonstrate ability to assess operational performance and ability, people, and process.
  • Ability to be agile and act with pace, to both identify and execute with a determination to deliver and succeed under pressure and resistance.
