Product Management Assistant

About the RoleOur client has gone through an acquisition and is looking for an assistant to the current product manager to bolster their team and face the growth plans we have in place.
Key Responsibilities- Support the development of a product positioning plan to manage the product lifecycle from the launch event to its conclusion.
- Monitor product development budgets.
- Support the planning, development and marketing of products within the portfolio.
- Create collaterals and sales support training materials (audio-visual presentations, technical data sheets, manuals, etc.).
- Maintain the products database for all products, responsible for reviewing product data to ensure that the management team is kept up to date.
- Continuously monitor market needs and customer requirements, considering future technology/developments, competitor products/services and the changing requirements of regulatory bodies.
- Maintain a list of competitors for each model in the range, creating comprehensive competition analyses for marketing purposes.
- Experience manipulating and interpreting data to make recommendations.
- Proficient with MS Excel and Power Point.
- An electronic engineering/software engineering qualification is an additional advantage.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in business or a technical field, MBA is a plus.
- Ideally, experience in Product Management in an electronics environment.
- Engaging relationship management, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of Mandarin is a distinct advantage.
- Time management: This role requires planning and foresight to ensure all projects are delivered on time and in line with all areas of the business.
