Your responsibilities
- Be part of the Procurement Solutions team based at Ratcliffe-on-Soar Power Station in Nottingham, focusing on ensuring best value-for-money procurement and maximizing business and project value for day-to-day operations across the UK.
- Overall sourcing responsibility for executing tenders, including supplier invitation & selection, negotiation, and implementation of supplier contracts.
- Collaborate closely with other Procurement functions; Business Solutions, Performance & Culture, and Digitalisation teams.
- Perform day-to-day tasks, such as raising Purchasing orders in relevant systems & tools; SAP, SAP Ariba.
- Manage Contracts where required, including contract extensions.
Your profile
- Suitable experience in the energy industry and/or procurement/purchasing role would be beneficial.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and understand when to prioritize.
- Experience in using SAP, SAP Ariba, or other relevant ERP platforms would be beneficial.
