Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their product/service offerings.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to obtain advantageous agreements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliability of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand and manage supply chain logistics efficiently.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions accurately and timely.
  • Review and manage supplier performance, addressing any issues or discrepancies promptly.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and organisational policies.

Requirements

  • Experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes, policies, and best practises.
  • Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
