About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our team at West Kent Mind. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our fundraising strategy, with a focus on income growth and diversification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy, including the design and delivery of targeted fundraising campaigns, events, and activities.
  • Lead the management of our donor database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records, and providing excellent stewardship to our donors and supporters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate partners, community fundraisers, and individual donors.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to promote our fundraising activities and maximize income generation opportunities.
  • Manage the fundraising budget, ensuring effective financial management and reporting.
  • Develop and deliver training and coaching to colleagues on fundraising best practices and techniques.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in fundraising, with a track record of success in income generation and donor development.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Excellent financial management and budgeting skills, with experience of working with CRM systems.
