About the Role

West Kent Mind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead the implementation and development of fundraising initiatives, maximizing income and growing a diverse funding base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a targeted fundraising strategy, including local campaigns, events, and activities, to achieve income growth targets.
  • Lead the design, development, and execution of an annual community fundraising program, providing guidance on fundraising matters and representing the organization in relevant forums.
  • Maintain and update a donor database within our CRM, supporting and nurturing relationships with stakeholders, community fundraisers, and corporate partners.
  • Oversee the continuous improvement of fundraising operations, including policy adherence, strategy development, and the coordination and management of volunteers and training initiatives.
  • Manage the fundraising budget with a strong proficiency in Excel and a solid understanding of financial management.
Requirements
  • Experience in fundraising and generating financial support, with a proven track record of meeting financial targets.
  • Excellent project management skills, including financial management and budgeting skills, and the ability to work with Microsoft Excel.
  • Confident and comfortable presenting and engaging with individuals, groups, and businesses, both in person and online.
  • Empathetic to the needs of people who need mental health support and understanding of how West Kent Mind supports the local community.
