Fundraising Manager

West Kent Mind is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead the implementation and development of fundraising initiatives, maximizing income and growing a diverse funding base.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a targeted program of fundraising, including the delivery of local campaigns, events, and activities. They will also support community fundraisers from expression of interest to donation, building strong and lasting relationships.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to achieve income growth targets.
- Lead the design, development, and execution of an annual community fundraising program.
- Maintain and update a donor database, nurturing relationships with stakeholders, community fundraisers, and corporate partners.
- Oversee the continuous improvement of fundraising operations, including policy adherence, strategy development, and volunteer management.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across the organization to promote fundraising activities and maximize income generation opportunities.
- Proven experience in fundraising and generating financial support.
- Excellent project management skills, including financial management and budgeting.
- Confident and comfortable presenting and engaging with individuals, groups, and businesses.
- Empathetic understanding of the needs of people who require mental health support and the role of West Kent Mind in supporting the local community.
