About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Exercise Medicine Lead to join our team at GenesisCare UK. As an Exercise Clinic Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored exercise medicine assessments and prescriptions for patients with cancer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective exercise programs for patients with cancer, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Lead the delivery of exercise medicine services across our cancer centres, ensuring high-quality care and patient outcomes.
  • Collect and maintain accurate records and data, adhering to HCPC standards of proficiency and GCUK policy.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience or equivalent clinical experience at a Band 6 level, working predominantly with oncology patients.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and use own initiative.
  • Experience of teaching and supervising less experienced staff.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical reasoning and management of complex cases.
