Year 5 Teacher Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join our team at a reputable primary school in Ealing. As a Year 5 Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Liaising with Parents: Establish strong relationships with parents and guardians to provide regular feedback on student progress and achievements.
  2. Behaviour Management: Maintain high standards of pupil behaviour, creating a productive and orderly environment that fosters academic excellence.
  3. Technology and Interpersonal Skills: Utilize technology and online management systems effectively, while demonstrating strong interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Teaching Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, along with a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification.
  2. British QTS: Be eligible for British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
  3. Classroom Experience: Possess proven classroom experience or training as a Year 5 Teacher.
