Job Title: Year 5 Teacher Position

Job Type: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent

Contract Length: 12 Months

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to a class of Year 5 students, promoting a love of learning and achieving academic excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative lessons that cater to the needs of all students
  • Mark and assess student work to inform future lesson planning
  • Participate in parents' evenings to discuss student progress
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Utilize technology and online management systems to enhance teaching and learning

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant subject
  • PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
  • British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
  • Proven classroom experience or training
