Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, providing coaching and development opportunities to ensure excellent customer and patient care.
- Oversee compliance processes and procedures, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Review sales forecasting and department targets, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Deal with customer queries and concerns, providing a high level of service and support.
- Work closely with an Optometrist to manage clinic operations and ensure the department is well-equipped to meet customer needs.
- Fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
- On track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
- Confident in coaching and developing others.
- Able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
- Driven and ambitious to ensure the department meets its targets.
- Proven leadership skills in a fast-paced Optics environment.
- Organised and able to manage time effectively.
