Scrub Nurse and ODP Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner to join our team at Nuffield Health's Taunton Hospital. As a Theatre Practitioner - Scrub / ODP Minor Operations, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and experiences for patients undergoing minor procedures.
Key responsibilities include working on a varied caseload using state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities, scrubbing for minor LA procedures over several specialties, and assisting with the admitting and discharging of local anaesthetic minor procedure patients. You will also supervise, support, and develop junior members of staff.
The ideal candidate will have qualifications and experience relevant to their registration, including NMC or HCPC, and post-registration experience. Excellent communication skills and a great team spirit are also essential. The estimated salary for this role is around £32,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
