We are seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to join our Community Nurse Specialist team at St. Margaret's Hospice.

Job Overview

This is a full-time, permanent role that requires working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work closely with the countywide community team lead, managing aspects of the service, including clinical assessments, triaging, care planning, clinical supervision, mentoring, and assessing workload/service activity.

As an NMC registered nurse, you will need to have experience of working at management level and leading a team. This includes making referrals to the multi-disciplinary team and working collaboratively with a wide range of community-based services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the Community Nurse Specialist team, ensuring high-quality patient care and effective service delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospice standards.
  • Collaborate with other teams and departments to provide a comprehensive service, including coordination of care plans and communication with patients and families.
What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £46,468 per annum, plus 30% Unsocial Hours Enhancement on Saturdays and 60% on Sunday & bank holidays.
