Care Support Specialist

About the Role:
As a Support Worker with Radis Community Care, you will be responsible for providing care and support to individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) and mild learning disabilities. Your role will involve supporting individuals with daily living skills, personal care, food preparation, household tasks, and accessing the community. You will also be responsible for promoting independence, choice, dignity, and respect for individuals with PMLD and mild learning disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide care and support to individuals with PMLD and mild learning disabilities
* Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and food preparation
* Support individuals with household tasks and accessing the community
* Promote independence, choice, dignity, and respect for individuals
* Work collaboratively with the care team to provide a person-centred service
Requirements:
* Qualification in health and social care (desirable)
* Experience working in supported living settings and/or with individuals with PMLD (desirable)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies
