**Role Overview**

Vetro Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and caring support worker to join our team in Leominster. As a Children's Residential Support Worker, you will be working in a small residential home, providing 2:1 support to children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people in all aspects of daily life, promoting independence and wellbeing.
  • Participate in weekend activities, holidays, and trips away with the children, fostering a sense of community and belonging.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to care plans and guidelines.
  • Provide emotional and practical support to young people, addressing challenging behaviors.

Requirements:

  • At least 6 months of experience working with children or in a similar social care setting.
  • A valid UK driving license and current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK and a caring, empathetic nature.
