We are seeking an ambitious undergraduate to join our Broadcast Graphics DevOps team as a Broadcast Graphics Developer. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects that make a positive difference to real people.
About the RoleThis 12-month Industrial Placement will commence in July 2025 and provide you with valuable experience working alongside diverse and highly skilled experts in your field. You'll be part of a DevOps team, gaining experience in both software development and support work.
As a Broadcast Graphics Developer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing applications to support the broadcast graphics software
- Supporting internal and external customers to troubleshoot problems with the broadcast graphics software
- Keeping documentation up to date
- Testing the integrity of the broadcast graphics software and supporting applications
- Exploring new capabilities
Our Broadcast Graphics Developer will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, develop their skills and knowledge, and make a real impact at the Met Office.
