Sales Development Representative

Role Overview
LRQA is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Inside Sales Executive to join our Business Assurance Business Unit. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving successful lead conversions, maximizing sales value, and proactively building a pipeline of sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on company-generated leads, ensuring timely and effective client discovery to maximize sales opportunities.
- Engage in outbound sales and prospecting activities, representing LRQA in a professional manner.
- Develop self-generated leads through prospecting and networking to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
- Manage your pipeline to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, taking corrective action as needed.
- Maintain comprehensive records on our CRM system, adhering to global sales processes.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues to ensure timely follow-up on local campaigns and marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date with business activity in your sector, enabling you to support client requirements and develop new sales opportunities.
- Enhance LRQA's profile within target markets through strategic relationships and alliances.
- Provide accurate and timely sales and business report forecasts and action plans.
- Support team members as needed to ensure team performance meets expected activity and sales targets.
Requirements
- Essential: Demonstrable track record of selling products and/or services in a comparable role in a BB or BC environment.
- Essential: Proven track record in achieving sales targets and pipeline development.
- Essential: Demonstrable experience in managing quotations, bids, and proposals, including working to set pricing models.
- Essential: Good oral and written communication skills, active listener, and ability to work under own initiative.
- Essential: Knowledge of standard IT programs, Salesforce, and comfort using proprietary software for business processes.
- Desirable: Experience in preparing and delivering proposal presentations to senior managers.
- Desirable: Knowledge of the business assurance sector.
