Job Summary

This exciting opportunity is available for a Clinical Psychologist to join the Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Psychologist to work in our Type 1 Diabetes and Disordered Eating (T1DE) service, which provides specialist assessment and psychological therapy to individuals with diabetes and disordered eating. As part of this role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality psychological triage, assessment, and time-limited psychotherapy treatment to patients living with type 1 diabetes and disordered eating.

Main Duties
  • Provide specialist assessment and psychological therapy to individuals with diabetes and disordered eating
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality psychological triage, assessment, and time-limited psychotherapy treatment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with wider partners, including the locally provided eating disorder service, medical psychology, and secondary mental healthcare
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology or equivalent
  • Experience of working with individuals with diabetes and eating disorders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work flexibly within a dynamic team environment
