We are currently seeking a Trust Grade Doctor in Diabetes and Endocrinology to join our multidisciplinary team at University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, while developing your skills and expertise in Diabetes and Endocrinology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented doctor to contribute to the development of our service, while working closely with our experienced clinicians and healthcare professionals. The successful candidate will have a minimum of one month's UK/NHS experience and will be eligible to apply for this role.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £62,000 - £71,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Ensure a safe and high standard of care of all patients
  • Participate in the running of the department/ward
  • Provide clinical supervision of Junior doctors on medical wards &/or in the on-call team
  • Provide senior medical input for the on-call Medical Team (especially Out of Hours) and potentially lead the cardiac arrest team
  • Assist with achieving the DOH Clinical Quality Indicators
