Academic Mathematician

At Wayman Learning Trust, we are seeking a talented Academic Mathematician to join our exceptional Maths department. This role offers a unique opportunity to teach Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, as well as the potential to teach A-Level.

The successful candidate will be part of a supportive and dedicated team of practitioners who provide comprehensive support and mentoring programmes. Our vision is to combine education and health in transforming the futures of our young people.

This position is available on a full-time basis, starting in January 2025. The salary for this role will be paid to scale MPS/UPS, reflecting the high standards expected from our teachers.

As a Teacher of Mathematics at our school, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise, working closely with our experienced teaching staff. You will also contribute to the development of our Maths curriculum, ensuring it remains relevant and engaging for our students.

To be considered for this role, you should hold a Maths Degree and QTS or PGCE qualification. You must also have a passion for teaching Maths and a commitment to supporting student progress.
